Development Programmes

Young Professionals Plan

For young people who have just obtained their Technical titles, which are linked to the areas of production, the company offers a professional development plan, which comprises training, contractual and financial aspects.

Talent management

The company periodically carries out an Assessment of Competencies programme for all employees so that the corresponding Department Managers and Heads are able to assess and together analyse your development and role for a series of competencies (both generic and technical-functional) established by the company.


Continuous training for our employees is a strategic asset for the company.

The main areas of Training are:

  • Technical Training with external suppliers for various technical materials and with our own, more senior specialists thus ensuring that knowledge is passed on.
  • Language training. The in company English teaching programmes, which are very popular, are free and accessible to all employees. Spanish for foreigners is gathering numbers due to the increase in non Spanish-speaking empoyees in the company.
  • Training for Management Skills. We have various tailor-made, residential programmes for the development of middle management, Heads and Directors.
  • Training for Information Technology with the aim of knowing and handling computing tools that are both generic and specific to our sector.
  • Training agreement with UPCT.

Other programmes

With our aim of having a large international presence among our personnel together with the offer of various international internships at our main office in Madrid, we have specific programmes to recruit and train young professionals from countries where the company is strongly represented.

Saudi Trainees Development Program: a programme directed at young, Saudi engineers to stay in Spain for a period of one year to carry out a professional internship with postgraduate training in “Management” at the ‘Alcalá de Henares’ University.

We are currently immersed in adopting the Excellence for Management Model by the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) directed at obtaining excellence for all our processes.

Another great cornerstone of the company’s action is based on Safety both with reference to the correct design of our plants for safe exploitation, functioning and maintenance and to the work conditions for our personnel at both the design and construction phases. In this respect, TR has been given various awards by their clients for being the contractor with the greatest number of man hours in construction without accidents.

Lastly, we would like to highlight that compliance with the strictest of international regulations for Environmental Management is the keynote of the whole design of our plants.
