EcoVadis Improves Técnicas Reunidas’ Rating

EcoVadis, a platform dedicated to measuring sustainability performance across corporate value chains, has awarded Técnicas Reunidas a score of 65 out of 100, representing a two-point improvement over its previous rating. As a result of this assessment, the company ranks in the 68th percentile, meaning that TR’s sustainability performance is equal to or better than that of 68% of the companies evaluated by the rating agency, placing it among the top 32% performers.

In this assessment, EcoVadis evaluated a total of 5,663 companies in the engineering sector. The results demonstrate that Técnicas Reunidas has a strong framework of sustainability policies, performance indicators and certifications, highlighting the robustness of its sustainability management system.

The assessment identifies the strength of Técnicas Reunidas’ climate action strategy as one of the Company’s key strengths. Among the most highly rated aspects are the establishment of greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets for Scopes 1 and 2, the validation of these targets through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and the implementation of action plans to reduce Scope 3 emissions.

Founded in 2007, EcoVadis conducts sustainability assessments that are used by clients and investors as a benchmark for responsible investment and procurement decisions. It is a global platform operating in more than 180 countries, specializing in supply chain assessments. Its database can accommodate up to 50,000 suppliers, and its clients include companies such as Moeve, Repsol, Technip, and Maire.
