Técnicas Reunidas Strengthens Its Commitment to Nature

On the occasion of the World Nature Protection Day, celebrated every October 18th, Técnicas Reunidas reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change, highlighting the progress outlined in its latest Integrated Report.

In recent years, the Company has accelerated its decarbonization strategy by promoting clean technologies and low-carbon solutions. These initiatives not only reduce the carbon footprint but also align with the principles stated in its corporate sustainability policy.

As a result, Técnicas Reunidas’ Low-Carbon Technologies division achieved sales of €130.1 million in 2024, marking a 209.6% growth compared to the previous year, thanks to hydrogen, biofuel, and carbon capture projects.

As emphasized in Técnicas Reunidas’ Sustainability Policy, the Company is focused on generating sustainable value and respecting the environment and biodiversity. One of the Group’s commitments is to minimize negative impacts on the ecosystems where it operates, thereby preserving the natural surroundings.

Additionally, Técnicas Reunidas has received validation of its emission reduction targets from the SBTi and has been awarded the highest rating, “A”, by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). All of this reflects the company’s strong commitment to transitioning toward a low-carbon economy through the adoption of more efficient technologies.
