SDG Anniversary: Committed to the Future

To mark the 11th anniversary of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), Técnicas Reunidas is taking part in the initiative promoted by the United Nations Global Compact, raising the SDG flag as a symbol of its commitment to sustainable development.

Técnicas Reunidas’ commitment to the SDGs is reflected in its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives that link the Company’s activities to sustainability and the key challenges of the 2030 Agenda. For this anniversary, the Company is putting particular emphasis on its employees and the people surrounding its projects.

In line with SDG 4 – inclusive, equitable, and quality education – Técnicas Reunidas fosters the attraction, development, and retention of talent by offering training programs and career development plans. During 2025, more than 335,455 hours of training were delivered, representing an increase of 43.62% compared with the previous year. In addition, the Company maintains collaboration agreements with more than 70 universities. These efforts reflect TR’s commitment to strengthening the capabilities of its workforce.

With regard to SDG 5 (Gender Equality), the Company promotes gender equality by ensuring equal opportunities for everyone. To this end, it provides STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) training aimed at women, while fostering an inclusive and diverse working environment. In addition, TR has a Policy on Board of Directors selection and diversity, as well as various initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and diversity and reducing inequalities. The Company has also long met the 40% target for female representation on the Board of Directors, even before this became a legal requirement.

Regarding SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), the Company promotes various volunteering and social action initiatives in the communities where it carries out its projects. In countries and locations including Spain, India, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Abu Dhabi, Técnicas Reunidas participates in volunteering projects and charitable campaigns, with particular attention given to vulnerable groups. Key initiatives include the distribution of food and drinking water, building renovations, the cleaning of public spaces, and the donation of school and sports equipment.

In 2025, the Company’s social contributions increased by 42.79% compared to the previous year, reaching 2,043,000 euros.
