At Técnicas Reunidas Group, we once again join in celebrating the International Women in Engineering Day, a date that highlights a profession increasingly prepared to tackle the major challenges of the future.
The Company’s young women engineers bring diverse perspectives and expertise to a profession that is increasingly linked to innovation, digitalization, and sustainability. Through their work on international projects and new technological and energy challenges, they drive progress toward the organization’s strategic goals.
As of May 2026, the Company has 14,193 professionals, of whom 9,585 are engineers. Within this group, 1,513 are women engineers, representing 10.66% of the total workforce and consolidating the presence of female talent in a field that is key to the organization.
So far this year, engineering hiring in Spain has shown strong growth, with 185 new engineering hires, of whom 61 are women. This means that women engineers account for 33% of all new engineering hires in 2026.
At Técnicas Reunidas, they are involved from the early stages of their careers in highly complex technical projects with an international scope, sharing knowledge with highly experienced professionals. This strengthens the combination of emerging talent and seasoned expertise, as well as the Company’s ability to face industry challenges.
In recent years, Técnicas Reunidas has sought to give visibility to female talent and recognize the contributions of its professionals through various initiatives. In 2025, the Company marked this day by sharing the perspectives of two professionals from different generations. For the same celebration in 2024, it highlighted the perspective of a colleague on the profession.
At Técnicas Reunidas, we want to recognize the contribution of all women in the profession, a key to advancing SDG 5 “Gender Equality,” SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” and SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities.”
